We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a remote Cyber Security Engineer. In this position, you will play an integral role in securing our cloud technologies and systems, utilizing your expertise in cybersecurity practices and vulnerability management. You will design, implement, and maintain security solutions, and manage security tools across various environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions to minimize security threats and risks.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to swiftly resolve security issues.

• Administer and manage security tools, ensuring effective functioning and implementation of security measures.

• Evaluate emerging security products and technologies for potential adoption.

• Act as a technical security subject matter expert in projects and incident response activities.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and research of security incidents, including malware analysis and system-level forensics.

• Determine severity levels of security threats and coordinate necessary responses.

• Document and implement mitigation strategies for discovered vulnerabilities.

• Review security violation reports and investigate security exceptions.

• Support the development of secure solutions to meet business needs.

• Proficiency in Checkpoint security systems
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco ASA
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies and its application in cyber security
• Expertise in Cloud Technologies, including security measures and best practices
• Sound understanding of Firewall Technologies and their implementation
• Ability to conduct AB Testing to ensure system security
• Experience in Auditing, with an emphasis on identifying and mitigating cyber threats
• Proficient in AWS Technologies, including security configuration and management
• Strong skills in Configuration Management for maintaining secure systems
• Comprehensive knowledge in the field of Cyber Security, including up-to-date awareness of emerging threats.
