Shooting at Livermore CVS

Livermore police are investigating a shooting that occured at a CVS Pharmacy near the 1500 block of First Street. The shooting resulted in one death and serious injuries to the second victim.
Late last moth around 6 p.m. the Livermore Police Department recieved multiple calls concerning a shooting at a local shopping center. Once they arrived to the scene, officers found two victims who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
One victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was rushed to a local hospital. The surviving victim had been shot several times and was in critical condition. So far authorities have not released the identities of the shooting victims.
According to a witness description the suspect has been described as tall black male with a thin build. He was seen wearing dark clothing, a beanie cap and what appeared to be a long gun of some kind.
The same witness to the incident was able to take down the license plate number of the suspected get away vehicle of the shooter. It was described as a black BMW with a red racing stripes.
Police later discovered a vehicle matching that same description traveling westbound on Interstate 580 in San Leandro. Authorities attempted a pursuit of the car, but lost sight of it once the pursuit came to Oakland.
Police have not yet any new details to this case and it is still an ongoing investigation.
