Salary: Professional Rate per GTA contract

Report Times: 7:15 am - 9:15 am

Daily Hours: 2

Work Year: 2024-2025

Supervisor: Saturday Learning and Growth Coordinators



Minimum Requirements:
- NYS Special Education Teacher certification.
- Effective or Highly Effective as determined by the NYSUT rubric.

Desired Qualifications:
- Currently employed as a special education teacher at GCSD
- Certification in TCI and/or CPI.
- Experience in working with students with Multiple Disabilities, students with Autism, and/or students who demonstrate challenging behaviors.
- Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and implementing and progress monitoring Behavior
Intervention Plans.
- Experience delivering specially designed instruction to students enrolled in a multi-grade classroom.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:
Serve as a teacher responsible for implementing and monitoring Individualized Education Programs of students participating in Saturday School. Communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, and colleagues regarding student progress. Create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment where all students feel supported. Provide timely feedback and evidence based interventions as appropriate.

Orientation: January 4, 2025 (Attendance Required)
7:00 AM- 9:30 AM
