Temporary-to-Hire Bookkeeper - $30/hr - Brea, CA
Job Description:
LHH is assisting our client in finding a skilled Bookkeeper for a temporary-to-hire position. The role is based in Brea, CA and offers $30 per hour. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of key accounting and bookkeeping tasks, with a strong emphasis on QuickBooks online and bank reconciliations. This is an in-office position with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The initial interview will be conducted virtually.
Key Responsibilities:
· Bank Reconciliations: Perform detailed bank reconciliations for 10 different entities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
· Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections: Manage AR collections specifically for the Tax office, including collecting from insurance companies.
· QuickBooks: Utilize QuickBooks online for various bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities and prepare necessary reports.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in bank reconciliations, preferably for multiple entities.
· Strong background in AR collections, specifically with experience in collecting from insurance companies.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:
· This position is located in the Brea office and requires in-office attendance from 8 AM to 5 PM.
