Beverage Cart Attendant

Summary: Provides exceptional food and beverage service to players on the course and dining areas. This position may also assist with bartending and service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Drives and operates the beverage cart around the golf course, offering a selection of cold and hot beverages, snacks, and other items to members and guests.
• Prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Accurately charges member accounts for items served.
• Assists with bartending and food service as needed.
• Greets members and guests with a friendly and positive attitude, taking and fulfilling orders promptly, accurately, and courteously.
• Always displays the highest standards of service, greeting and welcoming members in a polite, gracious, and enthusiastic manner.
• Adheres to golf course rules and etiquette while driving the beverage cart on the course, ensuring that golfers' play is not disrupted.
• Maintains compliance with applicable health, safety, and food handling, codes and standards.
  
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the beverage cart, including restocking products, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Completes closing duties at the end of each shift, including member & guest charges, inventory management, and cleaning procedures.
• Adheres to all Club policies and safety protocols.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
