Batch Maker - $19.50/Hr

This position is a direct hire opportunity!

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Batch Maker for our painting and coatings client to start immediately at $19.50/hr. Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!

Responsibilities:

Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Associate to join our production team. We manufacture different types of traffic and industrial paints and coatings. In this role, you will set up production equipment, prepare raw materials for production, and verify that we have the correct amount of materials to ensure the production of the material runs successfully.

Pending employment all applicants must pass a physical. Additionally, the applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screening and background check. 

Forklift experience or certification is a plus, however training can be obtained within the company after hire. 

• Set up and recalibrate production equipment 
• Prepare materials for production
• Keep track of supply inventory 
• Assist with packaging and labeling finished products 
• Ensure consistent product quality 
• Assist with other tasks as needed 

Location: Hammond, IN

Schedule/Shift Details: 

• 6AM-2PM or 7AM-3PM Monday-Friday during the winter months
• Some Saturdays and overtime required in the summer months (shifts could start as early as 4AM)

• Physical stamina
• Attention to detail
• Compliance in safety and accuracy 
• Employee is required to wear necessary safety equipment 
• Must be able to wear a full face respirator 
• Hard hat 
• Safety glasses

• Steel toe boots 
• Coveralls/Uniform 
• Employee will be in direct contact with hazardous materials 
• Knowledge of production process
