We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Compliance Officer opportunity with a California-chartered, full-service commercial non-member bank. This bank provides deposit and loan products, including commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and SBA loans, as well as related banking services. The bank's targeted client base includes executives, professionals, and small-to-medium-sized businesses. The Compliance Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

• Assisting the Compliance Manager in ensuring adherence to the bank's Compliance Management System.
• Supporting employees on compliance matters and conducting reviews.
• Performing compliance monitoring and preparing appropriate reports for the board.
• Assisting the Compliance Manager in administering the bank-wide training program.
• Assisting with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) related matters, including tracking, validating, evaluating, and organizing CRA data.
• Providing solutions and resolutions for compliance issues and findings.
• Complying fully with all bank policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Code of Conduct, etc.).

Specific qualifications for the position include : 

• Demonstrates professional integrity.
• Must possess strong computer, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial institution, with compliance or audit experience.

Pay Rate Range : $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
